Attorney Kimberly Villalta is an associate attorney at the Law Office of Jennifer T. Dane, P.A., where she represents clients in all areas of family law, including divorce, paternity, child custody, child support, and post-judgment modification and enforcement matters. Since being admitted to the Florida Bar in 2018, Kimberly has dedicated her career to helping families throughout Central Florida navigate difficult transitions with clarity, empathy, and practical guidance. She joined the firm in 2020, bringing with her more than a decade of hands-on legal experience and a deep commitment to client-focused advocacy.

Before becoming an attorney, Kimberly worked as a paralegal for six years, gaining valuable insight into the legal process and developing a strong foundation in client communication and case management. That experience shaped her understanding of how stressful family law matters can be and the importance of guiding clients with both compassion and honesty.

While Kimberly is a capable and confident litigator, she encourages clients to consider mediation whenever possible, emphasizing that it allows them to maintain the most control over their outcomes. She believes that mediation fosters cooperation, reduces conflict, and often leads to more lasting, positive resolutions. However, when settlement is not possible, she is fully prepared to advocate vigorously in court to protect her clients’ rights and interests.

Kimberly earned her Juris Doctor from Barry University School of Law in 2017, following an undergraduate degree in Legal Studies from the University of Central Florida. During law school, she served as a Certified Legal Intern for the Florida Department of Children and Families, where she zealously advocated for the safety, well-being, and permanency of children affected by abuse, abandonment, or neglect.

An active member of the Family Law Section of The Florida Bar and the Legal Aid Society of the Orange County Bar Association, Kimberly volunteers as a Guardian ad Litem, representing the best interests of children in dependency cases.
Clients and colleagues describe Kimberly as kind, understanding, and straightforward. She listens carefully, communicates clearly, and provides honest, realistic advice. Kimberly strives for each client to feel informed, empowered, and supported through every stage of their case. Her balanced, practical approach reflects her genuine commitment to helping families find stability and resolution during challenging times.

Originally from New Jersey, Kimberly relocated to Florida as a child and now proudly calls Central Florida home. When she’s not practicing law, she enjoys traveling, learning and researching new topics, and spending time with her family and pets.
